Supervision and Consultation
I provide individual supervision to licensed mental health professionals looking to improve and deepen their clinical work with individuals, couples, or families. Individual supervision offers you the opportunity to understand your patients from fresh perspectives and expand your capacities for helping them. My focus in supervision is discovering and strengthening your unique way of working. I have experience teaching and supervising counseling graduate students at New York University and John Jay College of Criminal Justice in the full range of theoretical and technical approaches, and I bring this same open and eclectic spirit to my private supervisory work. My goal is to use my own experience and wisdom to complement and enhance your own.
Consultation for organizations
Psychoanalytic principles have much to offer groups and organizations dealing with recurrent problems. I have experience and keen interest in using these principles to help you and your organization address issues that are keeping it from functioning and thriving in the way you envisioned initially. I have particular experience helping organizations struggling with issues related to LGBTQ-affirmative practice, group relations, and communication breakdowns.
